As missionaries to Indonesia, Jamie and Tasha Kemp first realized they needed to pursue their dream for missions while ministering in a U.S. church. Jamie was challenged by a passage in Isaiah 6. When God asked, “Who will go?”, Jamie responded. And they went. What dreams are you called to follow?

You’ve got a green light. To be on mission is to be proactive. Don’t be weighed down by the distraction of sin and possession. Travel light and be a blessing! God’s heart to bless us enables us to bless others. So our prayer is, “God, make us missional.”

You won’t immediately have the wisdom necessary to be the person you want to be. You must harvest wisdom. Personal experience through consequence makes us wiser. Yet to have wisdom beyond our own experience, we have to share the experience of others. God’s Word offers excellent experiences from which we can glean wisdom.

Our culture has created us to be talkers. It’s so easy to talk about something, but we should turn down the volume on our voices and amplify our actions. James challenges us not to simply be hearers of God’s Word, but to be doers as well. Doers are people who inspire, influence and make a difference—often they are heroes simply doing what they are called to do.

It’s easy to forget that 2,000 years ago “disciple” was synonymous with danger. We tend to remove the danger from the Gospel. Jesus did not die to keep you safe. He died to make you dangerous. As a church, we cannot afford to be safe. We must continue living dangerously.

God is the ultimate model of extreme generosity and Jesus is the manifestation of extreme generosity.
In a world where the Church is struggling to find unity, Craig Groeschel discusses three points that will unify us. We have one enemy who is out to steal, kill and destroy. We have one heart for the lost, broken and hurting.
Prayer is key to our spiritual life. Prayer is the way for us to experience “escape velocity.” God is always speaking, but we don’t hear him because we aren’t tuned in to his frequency. We should live as though the “best I can do is the best God can do.”

In this message, Dick Foth offers a template for life. Every journey has a starting point and a destination. Jesus simply wants us to do things “with” Him, so that we see ourselves as friends. That shifts the dynamic of our journey with Him. The essential theme of the Kingdom is doing life together. In Acts 3, a chance encounter at the gate called Beautiful paints a vivid illustration of this principle.

The Holy Ghost is intangible. He hovers over the chaos of our lives, bringing order. We must understand that our limits are not our ability, but what an unlimited God does through us. Our gifts are the manifestation of the Holy Spirit within us. The Spirit is our omnitient, omnipresent counselor who gives us peace and joy. He works in the realm of our emotions through the fruits of the spirit. And He makes our synapses fire in unique ways and jogs our memory to surface things that we need to remember. The Holy Spirit also empowers us to be witnesses by heightening our sensitivity and passion for people and by giving us the words to say. The Spirit helps us in our weakness and intercedes for us.

The moment you put your faith in Christ, you become apart of life’s biggest dream. When you serve God by giving and doing, you become apart of the reality of seeing that dream come to life in other people. God poured out His Spirit, beginning in the Upper Room, to make us dreamers. Yet, somewhere along the way, the modern Church has become fixated on the sin of commission. In reality, we often sin by omission---by not doing. God’s greatest dream isn’t that we sit on a pew each week. God dreams of a great destiny for us as Spirit-filled people. And He wants to make us dreamers.
